13th
International conference on fusion reactor
materials
The 13th edition of ICFRM 13 will be held
in Nice between 10th and 14th December 2007.
It will gather 600 fusion scientists from
around the world.
|
| ICFRM is the major
international conference for exchanging and
archiving knowledge on the development of
materials for both near and long-term fusion
energy systems. It is a focus and meeting
place for the world's fusion community. Results
of research into the development and deployment
of materials for fusion devices will be presented.
The scope of the conference ranges from fundamental
materials science to in-service materials
performance, and will consist of a mix of
invited and contributed oral and poster presentations. |

| The core objectives are: |
- Exchange of scientific and industrial
know-how in the domain of fusion science
materials;
- Presentation of R&D findings by
the international scientific community;
- Exploration of possible scientific collaborations.

Combining industry with science,
application and research.
The French Industrial Committee for ITER
and the CEA, in partnership with ICFRM 13,
have decided to organize IBF/07, an ITER
- related international industrial forum.
- ICFRM 13 concerns the scientific
aspects of the materials used in fusion
processes.
- IBF/07 is a business event and
promotes exchanges between contractors,
manufacturers and fusion scientists for
ITER.
